I Mountain Lion har en ny funktion, Gatekeeper, smygit sig in:

Gatekeeper is a new feature in OS X Mountain Lion that helps protect users from downloading and installing malicious software. Signing your applications, plug-ins, and installer packages with a Developer ID certificate lets Gatekeeper verify that they are not known malware and have not been tampered with.

Någon som vet hur man gör för att signera en .app fil?
Jag lyckas signera en .pkg fil med mitt Developer ID certifikat men får följande felmeddelande när jag ska signera .app filen:
"productsign: error: "file.app" does not have a valid extension for a signed package."
För att signera och verifiera min programvara kör jag nedan kommando:
Signera:
productsign --sign ”Name” “file_old.pkg” “file_new.pkg”
...där "Name" är namnet på mitt Developer ID certifikat.
Verifiera:
spctl -a -v --type install ”file_new.pkg”
