WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) released the following statement after YouTube removed the video of his floor speech from last week from public view:


“It is a chilling and disturbing day in America when giant web companies such as YouTube decide to censor speech. Now, even protected speech, such as that of a senator on the Senate floor, can be blocked from getting to the American people. This is dangerous and politically biased. Nowhere in my speech did I accuse anyone of being a whistleblower, nor do I know the whistleblower’s identity. Apparently, YouTube has taken it upon itself to decide what questions can even be asked in the public debate, including on the Senate floor.”

Senator Paul’s speech, given during the allotted time for senators to express their thoughts on the impeachment trial, focused on the surveillance state’s abuse of its powers. Senator Paul read the following question:

"Manager Schiff and Counsel for the President, are you aware that House Intelligence Committee staffer Shawn Misko had a close relationship with Eric Ciaramella when at the National Security Council together, and are you aware and how do you respond to reports that Ciaramella and Misko may have worked together to plot impeaching the President before there were formal House impeachment proceedings?"

YouTube has removed a video of Rand Paul using the name of alleged Ukraine whistleblower Eric Ciaramella on the Senate floor, saying it contravened its community guidelines.

"We’ve removed hundreds of videos and over ten thousand comments that contained the name. Video uploaders have the option to edit their videos to exclude the name and reupload," Ivy Choi, a spokeswoman, told Politico.

Ciaramella, 33, is a career CIA analyst and was the Ukraine director on the National Security Council from 2016 until the summer of 2017.

Paul read the name on the Senate floor earlier this month after U.S. Chief Justice John Roberts declined to read a question, including the name, during the trial itself.

My question is not about a “whistleblower” as I have no independent information on his identity. My question is about the actions of known Obama partisans within the NSC and House staff and how they are reported to have conspired before impeachment proceedings had even begun.

I fjol blev Paul censurerad av Google därför att han hade tagit upp en fråga som var obekväm för CIA & co's sabotage mot den dåvarande presidentens administration.
Nu har han blivit avstängd pga frågan om ansiktsmasker.

Last week, after calling out YouTube for removing a video he posted in which he discussed the efficacy of masks with a journalist, Dr. Paul recorded a video message slamming the tech giant for censorship and noting that moving forward he would be posting his videos to Rumble.com as well, where they don’t censor the news. In a continuation of their commitment to act in lockstep with the government, YouTube removed that video too, claiming it contradicted the government’s official position. You can still watch the banned video on Rumble.


Not only did YouTube/Google remove the video, but they also suspended Dr. Paul’s ability to upload videos to his official senate YouTube account for seven days, which is a huge disservice to the thousands of Kentuckians who visit his page for regular updates on the work he does for Kentucky in the Senate.

Trying to shape human behavior isn’t the same as following the actual science which tells us that cloth masks don’t work.

Censorship by YouTube is very dangerous as it stifles debate and promotes groupthink where the “truth” is defined by people with a political agenda.

Att inte Fox eller någon annan aktör drar igång en konkurrent till Jewtube??? Det här blir fan bara värre och värre.

Finns redan ett flertal alternativ. Undrar om inte "peak youtube" för länge sedan är passerad. I alla fall vad gäller politik, hälsa och samhällsfrågor

Tyvärr är tubens styrka bredd - vill man hitta en gammal McCartney-intervju från 86 gör man det (om någon lagt upp den dvs... ).
