So after going through 2g of Furanylfentanyl and 2g of 4-FIBF, here are my experience reports:
I have experience with Fentanyl, Acetylfentanyl, Furanylfentanyl, and 4-Fluoroisobutyrfentanyl
Furanylfentanyl (Fu-F):
Mine came as a white powder. When you make a nasal spray out of it, it does burn a little bit if you make a potent bottle, however on the lower end of spray bottle dosages, this isn't too much of a problem. Half-life wise, it's shorter than Fentanyl. About half the duration of plain Fentanyl, and very similar to Acetylfentanyl. Potency, once again, is very similar to Acetylfentanyl. However Furanylfentanyl does have a different feel to it. Hard to describe exactly, but it has a bit more of a punch, it comes on quick and plateaus out. I'd say Furanylfentanyl is more euphoric than Acetylfentanyl, but the euphoria dies out a bit faster than with Acetylfentanyl. It's hard to say for sure, but maybe it's a little more potent but shorter acting. If someone has an Acetylfentanyl habit and are switching to Fu-F, 1gr should last a very similar amount of time, though if I had to pick one as the overall better choice, I'd say 1g of Fu-F would go a bit further than 1g of Acetylfentanyl. Ultimately my verdict is that Furanylfentanyl is very similar to Acetylfentanyl, with maybe a little bit more euphoria and very slightly shorter duration, and maybe a slightly longer onset.
4-Fluoroisobutyrfentanyl (4-FIBF / p-FIBF):
This analog came as a huge surprise. Now let me frame my initial experiences with both drugs. I was very low on opioids, and close to out when my package of Fu-F and 4-FIBF finally arrived, so I was in withdrawal pretty bad. I was looking for immediate relief. I made 1 spray bottle of each with a very similar amount, a very small amount, say 10-15mg for 30mL. I tried both a few hours apart, feeling a similar amount of withdrawal at the start of both experiences. Normally when it's been awhile like it had, the first few doses give considerable euphoria regardless of the dose/analog. When I tried the Furanylfentanyl, that classic euphoria hit me. After letting that fade for a few hours, I tried the 4-FIBF and I was disappointed that it took me more than twice as much spray to feel anything close to as much euphoria, and even then the euphoria was barely noticeable. All I could really feel was relief from not being in withdrawal. Other than that I felt very minorly sedated, and a bit nauseated (I tend to get nauseated from opioids more easily than most), but otherwise remarkably clear. After a bit of patience, I noticed that I started to get more sick but felt pretty close to the same. I had to lay down to let the nausea pass. The 4-FIBF had a bit longer of an onset (~5-10 mins intranasal), but after a certain threshold, you don't really feel the effects (analgesia, euphoria, etc) any more strongly, except for the negative ones, like nausea.
From my initial tests, I learned that 4-FIBF had a similar potency, but less pronounced effects, particularly euphoria, and a longer onset. I couldn't tell much about the duration yet, but my assumption was that it'd be similar.
Since I have a fentanyl habit, things become more clear as you use a drug for a period of time. And what I found was very surprising. I decided to start with 1g of Fu-F, then switch to 4-FIBF. With the Fu-F, bottles were lasting me about a day. When I switched to 4-FIBF, I noticed that bottles lasted me more like 4 days. I never got quite as much euphoria out of it, but really I'm only trying to stay well, so that's all that matters to me anyways, so I was happy, especially considering I was expecting to go through the 4-FIBF much quicker. Also, 4-FIBF has a limiting effect because of the nausea, at least for me. I can't take enough to feel a noticeable euphoria because I get sick first. I probably could make it last even longer, but because the effects are harder to notice, I probably take more sprays than I need, but even still it lasts quite a lot longer because I can wait 4-6 hours between redosing if needed. Overall, if you include potency and duration, I'd say 4-FIBF is quite a bit stronger than Fu-F, mostly because it's longer duration. The actual potency for 4-FIBF I'd say is probably at least twice as potent as Fu-F, but Fu-F's effects are more noticeable, so the potency feels about the same. But if you're trying to take just enough to escape withdrawal, you could probably feel the same relief that you'd get with Fu-F with half as much 4-FIBF (or maybe even less), but once again, because the effects are less pronounced, it may be hard to tell in the short term.
Overall, if you take potency and duration into account I'd say roughly that:
1g Fentanyl = 3g 4-FIBF = 10g Fu-F = 12g Acetylfentanyl
I was definitely surprised by this one. Whatever change was made between 4FBF and 4-FIBF should be attempted with other analogs to see if they can increase the duration of other analogs, but with maybe a bit more euphoria/analgesia.
After a bit more extensive experience with 4-FIBF, I've come to realize that 4-FIBF is actually a very effective tool for weening yourself off of Fentanyl. Even potentially for weening off of other opioids, but finding the right dosage might be tough. Because of the lack of euphoria and a lot of recreational effects that come with most opioids, including most fentanyl analogs, the withdrawals are actually less pronounced. Additionally, the longer half-life makes them feel more traditional and less extreme than traditional fentanyl and traditional fentanyl analogs. Also, because of the lack of recreational value, there isn't the urge to take more than your standard dose. My habit was about the equivalent of 1gr per day smoked. When I got my 4-FIBF I started at about 15mg 4-FIBF per 30mL, and that would last me about 2 days. After only about 4-5 days I managed to lower that to 1-2mg of 4-FIBF per 30mL, which would last me about 1 day. These changes caused almost no discomfort. So more than the fact that it is just a good value, I've found 4-FIBF to be an excellent substitute therapy, similar to how you'd use methadone. However doing it yourself does require a bit of self control. But since it's not very recreational, there isn't a whole lot of incentive to increase your dose. At most you might experience a little more drowsiness/sedation with a higher dose. I will eventually do the decrease down to 0 when I'm not working, but for now, 1 gram of 4-FIBF will last me about 700 days of opioid maintenance, and that's pretty amazing. All without having to be registered in the healthcare system as an opioid addict.
